Outdoor Recreation – Community Plan Meeting
A meeting is being organized on March 10 or 11 for people who are interested in discussing outdoor recreation issues, ideas, and strategies for outdoor recreation in the Valley. This is a chance for hikers, mountain bikers, ATV owners, equestrian groups, hunters, fishers, boaters, business owners, and others to discuss issues and opportunities related outdoor recreation.
Please use this link to help select the time when most of you could meet on March 10 or 11. http://doodle.com/poll/5k3sc9m2xuuagvg4. The location of the meeting will depend on the number of people who express interest in participating and will be announced a week or more before the meeting.

The objective of this meeting
The objective is to give your area of special interest an opportunity to be included in the community strategic planning process. It is important for these ideas to be incorporated into the plan because the Community Strategic Plan makes our community more competitive for grants and gives us an opportunity to find potential project partners who can work together as a group to get ideas turned into realities. Be certain to get you ideas and concerns into the the Community Strategic Plan that is now being developed. The easiest way to start is by taking the community survey (see below). You can also suggest a discussion topic that you think should be included in the plan and work with facilitators to organize a meeting.
Get involved in changing the community’s future.
