Limpy Creek Loop Trail

The Limpy Creek Botanical Trail is a moderate, one mile loop trail with interpretive signs and several benches for those who want to sit and enjoy the sounds of water or mountain vistas. There is a restroom at the trailhead and one picnic table can be found a few yards up the trail.

DIRECTIONS
From Grants Pass, drive south on Highway 199 for about seven miles to where the road narrows from four lanes to two lanes before crossing the Applegate River Bridge. Immediately after crossing over the bridge, turn right on River Banks Road (the road to Griffin Park and Robinson Bridge). Once on this road, be cautious for sharp turns. Drive four and a half miles and look for a sharp, 20 mph curve turning 90 degrees to the right. Limpy Creek Road intersects here from the left. Follow Limpy Creek Road for about a mile to where the road narrows to one lane. Continue up the paved, one lane road for half a mile and turn left into the parking lot of Limpy Creek Trail. The parking lot is very  small. Use caution when turning around.
