Cleanup Projects

Trash dumping detracts from our cultural and ecologic heritage and CEEN Board members along with community advocates have worked on several cleanup projects, most of which have been on Bureau or Land Management and Forest Service lands. Cleanup at a BLM dump site on Upper Reeves Creek Road near Kerby, Oregon is an example.

Community cleanup projects have also been organized by CEEN. The Jubilee Park cleanup day is an example and involved youth at the park who picked up trash and painted tables, benches, and buildings to make the park presentable for the Lions Club annual Labor Day Festival.
